Max was putting on his underwear…I could see they were backwards. I said ‘I think you need to turn those underwear around’. I saw him a few seconds later with the underwear around his ankles and he turned around and then pulled them up! Silly kid.
Max was ‘cussing’ one evening a month or so ago. Neither Ted nor I could figure out what he was saying, but we could read his tone of voice. A few days later I figured out he was saying ’stinkin’…that’s his cuss word, apparently. And apparently I say it kinda often.

I’ve been trying to work on Jack lately…he mostly looks right. But this last week he’s had his left hand in his mouth several times.

Jack’s screaming his head off in spite of the fact that I just lovingly wrapped him up and put him in his bed.
Max says ‘I can’t believe it!’

Last night we were playing hide and go seek with Max. Ted said ‘Where’s Max?’ [...]
Max was playing with his dump truck and did something for his dump truck…then I heard him say “Thank you Max, you’re welcome Dump Truck”. Heh.
And this morning I told him “You need to take that shirt off”. Without missing a step he said “I need to not”. He’s been saying this kinda thing to me lately…it’s funny to hear something so grown-up coming out of his mouth. Sassy boy.
Jack was looking at his hands again today…think it’s gonna stick. He was doing the typical ‘wow, would you look at these things!’ look which is so fun to watch. Of course, I can’t find our blank video tapes. Oh, well.

Jack saw his feet this weekend while we were in Cappadoccia, and I’ve caught him looking at his hands several times this week. It’ll take a while longer for him to remember he has those, but it’s cute to watch him staring.
